Cancellation & Refund Policy of Lufthansa

To cancel the flight booking with Lufthansa Airlines, you can contact the Lufthansa customer service team by dialing their phone number or cancel the flight online through the website of Lufthansa Airlines using your device connected with the internet.

You are allowed to cancel your flight booking with Lufthansa Airlines anytime at least 120 minutes before the scheduled flight departure time. You will be charged for the flight cancellation fee or not it depends on the Lufthansa cancellation policy mentioned below:

Lufthansa Cancellation Policy 24 hours after booking

• If you are canceling the flight within 24 hours of the time of purchasing the ticket providing the flight was booked at least 7 days before the scheduled departure, you will not be charged for the cancellation fee and the full amount will be credited in your bank account.
• If you are canceling the flight after 24 hours of the time of purchasing the flight, you will be charged for the cancellation fee.
• If you are canceling the flight booked within the 7 days of flight departure, you will be charged for the cancelation fee.

Lufthansa Refund Policy

As per the Lufthansa refund policy, you will get the full amount refunded in your bank account automatically if you are canceling the flight without paying the cancellation fee. Otherwise, you will get the refund credited in your travel bank which can be used later.

How to cancel Lufthansa Airlines ticket online?

Steps to cancel the Lufthansa flight booking online:

• Go to the website of Lufthansa Airlines by visiting the link www.lufthansa.com
• Click on Menu
• Click on Cancellation and Refund
• Click on my booking
• Enter your last name and the Booking Code
• Click on SUBMIT button
• Now you will be able to see the booking details along with other options, you need to click on CANCEL option and then confirm the cancellation by following the on-screen instructions. Once you are done with this, you will receive a confirmation email or message confirming the same.
